Successfully set up WhatsApp Payments with AiSensy?

Awesome!!

Let's show you the different ways you can collect payments on WhatsApp.

There are three ways to collect payments on WhatsApp with AiSensy:

  • Broadcast payment messages to an unlimited audience

  • Send payment messages via Live chat

  • Connect WhatsApp Payments with Chatbot flows to automatically collect payments 24x7!

In this doc, we'll discuss how you can implement all three methods to collect payments in AiSensy.

How to broadcast payment messages on WhatsApp

1. Create and submit an order details template message for approval

In the image below, we've created a sample order details message. Feel free to customize this message, including adding applicable taxes to your products, to provide a comprehensive order summary for your customers. After finalizing your message, simply submit it and await approval, which usually takes just a few seconds.

2. Next, go to contacts & Select the audience group you wish to send the payment broadcast

3. Tap on Broadcast

4. Select the order details message

5. Hit send

6. Monitor Analytics

You can track the payment status as well within the user's live chat or by going to WA Pay dashboard 👉🏻 Payments.

If you're new to AiSensy and don't know how to send a WhatsApp Broadcast, this doc is for you.

How to connect WhatsApp Payments with Chatbot flows?

There are two cases for connecting WhatsApp Payments with Chatbot flows.

Case 1. You already have your Catalogue connected with AiSensy

Case 2. You don't have a Catalogue but want to collect payments on WhatsApp

Let's discuss how to connect payments with Chatbot flows for both of these cases.

Case 1 Connecting WhatsApp Payments with Chatbot when Catalogue is connected

1. Enable the Order flow trigger

To connect the Chatbot with WhatsApp payments, you must enable the Order flow trigger in the catalogue.

To do this, please connect with the AiSensy support team via Live chat or by calling our support number +919811491934

Don't worry! This process will become automated very soon!

If you already have an existing catalogue but haven't connected it with AiSensy, this is the doc for you.

2. Create Chatbot flow with "Confirm Order" option

Next, design your chatbot flow to guide the user towards a seamless payment experience. Tailor the call-to-action (CTA) button to align with your specific goal (e.g., "Buy Now," "Complete Purchase," "Secure Checkout"). When the user clicks this button, the payment message will be triggered (which we'll setup in the next step)

3. Add the WhatsApp Pay element and configure the payment template

In the WhatsApp Pay element, customize your payment settings:

  • Payment Methods: Choose whether to offer all available payment methods or direct customers to a dedicated payment page via a WhatsApp payment link.

  • Message Template: Select a pre-approved template message to accompany your payment request.

  • Payment Currency: Choose the currency in which you prefer to receive payments.

You can further craft a personalized message to be sent automatically once the payment is successfully processed.

That's it! Once you've created the entire flow, turn on the active toggle to enable the Chatbot.

Case 2 Connecting WhatsApp Payments with Chatbot without Catalogue

In case you have a digital product and don't have a catalogue, you can still collect payments on WhatsApp.

1. Create your WhatsApp Payments Chatbot Flow

2. For each product, add a unique WhatsApp Pay element and configure the payment template. Once this is done, turn on the Custom Product toggle

That's it! Once you've created the entire flow, turn on the active toggle to enable the Chatbot.
