Pre-requisites for KYC Verification

  • To go ahead with the KYC verification method, you must first get your WhatsApp Business API live.

  • A GST number and aadhar card of the company directory

 

KYC Verification method to increase WhatsApp Broadcasting limit

1. Go to your AiSensy Dashboard and tap "Start KYC"

2. Provide your official GST (Goods and Services Tax) number and upload the corresponding GST document

3. Enter the Aadhaar number and name of the company's director.

4. Tap "Send OTP" and enter the One-Time Password you receive on the director's Aadhaar-linked mobile number.

5. Your KYC details have been successfully submitted for approval.

Reasons for Rejection of KYC Verification

There can be many reasons leading to rejection of your KYC Verification. Let's discuss them briefly:

1. Mismatch Between Legal/Trade Name on GST and FBM Name (Most Common Issue)

    • Reason: The legal or trade name on the GST certificate does not match the name on the Facebook Business Manager (FBM) account.

    • Solution: To correct this, update the Facebook Business manager name by following these steps:

  • Go to your Facebook business manager from the below link:
    (https://business.facebook.com/settings/)
  • Click on the Correct Facebook business manager
  • Scroll Down to the left-hand side and click on Business Info.
  • Click on the edit option in front of your FBM Name
  • Update your FBM Name as per your GST Certificate
  • Click on save 
  • Re-Apply for KYC Verification.

 

2. Website URL Not Found

    • Reason: The provided website URL cannot be found.

    • Solution: Update the website URL in the profile section of AiSensy.

  • Open your Aisensy Dashboard.

  • Go to the right-hand side under Your API Number.

  • Click on View Profile and Update your Website URL.

 

3. Name Mismatch Between Aadhaar and GST Proprietor's Name

    • Reason: The name on the Aadhaar card does not match the name of the GST proprietor.

    • Solution: Ensure the Aadhaar details correspond to the GST proprietor's name.

 

4. Website Mismatch (Occasional Issue)

  • Reason: The website listed in AiSensy does not match the one in FBM.

  • Solution:

  1. Open your Aisensy Dashboard. 

  2. Go to the right-hand side under Your API Number.

  3. Click on View Profile and Update your Website URL.

 

5. Address Mismatch (Occasional Issue)

    • Reason: The address in AiSensy does not align with the address in FBM.

    • Solution: Ensure the address in AiSensy matches the address in FBM. To correct an address mismatch:

If the Address does not match the GST Certificate, then you have to change your address from your Facebook Business Manager. To change your address from your Facebook Business Manager, follow the below steps:

  • Go to your Facebook business manager with the below link:  (https://business.facebook.com/settings/)

  • Click on the Correct Facebook business manager

  • Scroll Down to the left-hand side and click on Business Info.

  • In the Front of your old Address click on the Edit option and Update your correct Address which is mentioned in your GST Certificate.

  • Click on save 

  • Re- Apply for KYC Verification.

 

6. WhatsApp Business API (WABA) Account Disabled

    • Reason: The WABA account is disabled.

    • Solution: Reactivate the WABA account before proceeding with KYC.
