In-depth Comparison

1. Ease of Creation

Creating a Dialogflow Chatbot is not difficult, however, it's quite time consuming. To create a Dialogflow Chatbot, you first must understand multiple processes to create intent, responses, fallbacks and so forth which will take you 3-4 hours to learn!

Meanwhile, the AiSensy Chatbot Flow Builder is a simple Drag and Drop Chatbot which you can create by creating Chat flows and connecting them via a thread. No coding, no complexities involved!

You can create a Chatbot in as little as 10 minutes.

Here's the UI of the AiSensy Chatbot Flow Builder:

As you can see, you just need to select an element from the Content block, add relevant text/ media, create the Chatbot flow and connect the threads! That's it! Your Chatbot is ready.

Using the Chatbot you can build Lists, add your products, ask a question and create an API request as well.

2. Number of Active Chatbots

In one AiSensy project, you can only integrate and run one Google Dialogflow Chatbot.

However, you can create and run as many Chatbots using the AiSensy Chatbot Flow Builder as you want. You can have multiple Chatbots running on multiple keywords, Template messages, Click to WhatsApp Ads and so on.

Note: Initially, you will unlock the capability to create 5 Chatbot Flows when you opt to purchase the Chatbot Flows. You can, however, increase the number of Chatbot flows by purchasing them directly from your dashboard.

3. WhatsApp Catalogues

You cannot send WhatsApp Catalogues to your users on WhatsApp through Google Dialogflow Chatbot.

However, the AiSensy Chatbot Flow Builder allows you to connect your WhatsApp Catalogues and seamlessly share your products with users on WhatsApp. Through this Chatbot, you can create an end-to-end shopping experience on WhatsApp.

Here's the UI of the AiSensy Chatbot Flow Builder and how you can connect WhatsApp Catalogues:

4. WhatsApp Pay Integration

AiSensy is one of the first WhatsApp Partners to enable businesses to collect payments directly within WhatsApp.

However, you cannot integrate WhatsApp Payments with the Google Dialogflow Chatbot.

The WhatsApp Payment setup is only possible with the AiSensy Chatbot Flow Builder. You can create an end-to-end Chatbot flow, leading the user to adding item to their and further enabling them to complete the payment directly within WhatsApp via UPI, Credit/ Debit Card and Netbanking.

5. Integration Requirements

You need to integrate the Google Dialogflow Chatbot by uploading the Chatbot key to AiSensy.

However, the AiSensy Chatbot Flow Builder doesn't require any integration. To enable the Chatbot flow, you just need to go to flows, create a Chatbot and switch the status of the Chatbot to active.

That's all it takes!

6. Click-to-WhatsApp Ads Integration

The integration of Click-to-WhatsApp Ads with the WhatsApp Chatbot allows you to activate a WhatsApp Chatbot when a user lands on your WhatsApp through a Click-to-WhatsApp Ad.

Given the depth of your Chatbot, you can even convert these users without even having a Live Chat agent connect with them.

The Google Dialogflow Chatbot doesn't integrate with Click to WhatsApp Ads.

However, the AiSensy Chatbot Flow Builder integrates with Click-to-WhatsApp Ads and you can create and run an automation flow through this chatbot.

When a user lands on your WhatsApp after clicking the Click-to-WhatsApp Ad, the Chatbot will engage them, answer their queries, qualify them by asking relevant questions and convert them into customers.

Here's how you can enable a Chatbot flow via AiSensy Chatbot Flow Builder:

7. API Requests

API requests essentially enable you to transfer the information collected by the Chatbot to your CRM or Google Sheet.

The Google Dialogflow Chatbot doesn't allow you to enable API requests.

However, you can easily create API Requests in the AiSensy Chatbot Flow Builder. Fetch and send data to your endpoints or CRM effortlessly.

8. Auto-tagging (based on User responses)

Let's say your Chatbot is collecting user information such as their email ID, their city and other data. The auto-tag allotment feature automatically allots a tag to these users based on their responses.

The Google Dialogflow Chatbot doesn't allot tags automatically. You will need to manually add the tag to that person.

However, the AiSensy Chatbot automatically allots a tag to users based on their responses, given that you have setup a tag and added the "Add Tag" element while creating the Chatbot.

If you don't know how to build the AiSensy Chatbot, check it out here.

9. Accepting Media and Location Responses

If you've asked for Media or Location responses from your users, the Google Dialogflow Chatbot doesn't save these responses. However, the AiSensy Chatbot saves these responses under the "Ask media" section.

10. User Response Validation

The Google Dialogflow Chatbot doesn't validate whether user responses such as date, email and number are filled in a particular format. E.g. If a person simply gives their name when asked for their email, it will still accept the response.

However, you can validate user responses such as date, email, number and Regex (regular expressions) with the AiSensy Chatbot and ensure that users submit their information in a particular format.

11. Pricing

The Google Dialogflow Chatbot is free to create and integrate with AiSensy. You won't be required to pay to create and use the Chatbot.

Note: You can only have one Google Dialogflow Chatbot running at one time in a single AiSensy project.

The AiSensy Chatbot Flow Builder is an add-on feature that has been developed in-house by the AiSensy team and is not included in the AiSensy subscription plans. To use ₹1999/ month to unlock a total of 5 Chatbot Flows, meaning 5 Chatbots running at the same time in a single AiSensy project.
